Enhance Your Edge In Pipeline Rehab

Contractors needing to renovate wastewater infrastructure with greater productivity, precision and reliability have a new partner: Pipeline Renewal Technologies. We're focused exclusively on the rehab sector, delivering innovative yet proven solutions with a strong support emphasis.

VeriCure for CIPP Quality Assurance

VeriCure monitors cure temperature continuously along the full length of a cured-in-place pipe during installation, distinguishing small thermal variances in zones as small as 1.5'. This information helps ensure storm and sewer lines are rehabilitated to spec, and perform as intended.

Janssen Process Structural Resin Repair

Janssen Process addresses the cause of lateral connection and mainline failure: inadequate bedding and support. Fast-curing resins are injected through cracks and joints into surrounding cavities, creating bedding that eliminates roots, infiltration and voids—all without plugging or digging.

Titan 150 Lateral Reinstatement Cutter

Delivering 1.75 hp at 12,000 rpm, the air-powered Titan 150 cuts most any pipe or liner material rapidly, cleanly and precisely. It runs off CUES controls, reducing your investment, and features a two-axis, variable-speed cutter arm capable of reaching 9", swiveling 400 degrees, and front-cutting.

Micro Lateral Cutter

The Micro makes cuts as far as 100' inside laterals 3–10". Remote-inflated air bladders allow self-positioning of the cutting head; clamp the arm for precision; and enable cutting feeds of 4". With joystick-controlled articulation, it maneuvers through 90-deg bends in 4" lines.

Using patented technology, the new VeriCure system monitors cure temperature continuously along the full length of a CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) liner during installation. This information helps ensure storm and sewer lines are rehabilitated to specification, and perform as intended.

Under a license agreement just signed with Pipeline Renewal Technologies, Clarksburg, MD-based Pleasants Construction Inc. will now perform Janssen Process structural lateral connection renovation and mainline point repair throughout Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

After several failed attempts with relining products, the city of Minden, Germany solved the problem of groundwater infiltration at lateral connections using Janssen Process. With the process, a fast-curing resin is pressure-injected to fill the gap between lateral and mainline, and any voids behind. The result is a sealed structural connection with a service life projected to exceed 50 years. By renovating just 6 laterals, the city was able to reduce volume at the neighboring pump station 65%.

It has been more than 25 years since the Janssen Process for point repair was first applied by the City of Muenster to address damaged areas of their sewer grid. To date, no failures have been recorded.

Every year, the sanitary and Sewer Department of the City of Solingen relines approximately 5 km of its sewer grid. In doing this, they rely upon a high quality and durable system, not least because the rehabilitation of the communal sewer discharge system involves considerable cost. This is true not only for relining, but for the reconnection of laterals, as well.

Municipal contractors seeking to renovate water and wastewater infrastructure with greater productivity, precision and longevity have a new partner: Pipeline Renewal Technologies. The company, just launched by pipe inspection leader Envirosight™, is focused exclusively on the rehab sector, delivering innovative yet proven products and processes with a strong support emphasis.
