No-Dig Solution Repairs Localized Cracks, Collapses and Offsets.
Link-Pipe structural sleeves rehabilitate deteriorating pipe sections without the hassle and expense of excavation. A technician simply pulls the contracted sleeve into place using a pipe plug, which is then inflated to expand and lock the sleeve against the pipe wall.
Since pipe deterioration is often highly localized, Link-Pipe provides a cost-effective alternative to relining the full length of a predominantly sound pipe. It installs in just 20 minutes using a crew of two. Best of all, Link-Pipe requires no capital equipment investment, which means even small contractors can now offer point repair as a service.
Link-Pipe’s design consists of a stainless steel sleeve with a shroud of sealant that fills cracks in the host pipe as the sleeve is expanded into place. The technology remedies partial and total collapses, restoring pipe to its original strength, and also addresses missing pipe and offset joints. Link-Pipe retards root growth, seals against exfiltration at pressures up to 5 psi, and seals off abandoned lateral connections. Additional sealing against infiltration is also available. Materials of construction tolerate saltwater, hydrochloric acid, hydrogen sulfide, and other chemicals.
Link-Pipe rehabilitates pipes ranging 6 to 54 inches in diameter and comes in lengths of 1 to 3 feet. They offer a 10-year limited warranty and a projected 100-year service life. For larger pipes and pipes with non-circular cross-sections, hinge-locked PVC sleeves are also available.
