Pipeline Renewal Technologies Appoints Peter Kurz Business Manager.

Pipeline Renewal Technologies (PRT) today announced Peter Kurz has assumed leadership of the growing company under the title of Business Manager. In this new role, Mr. Kurz will oversee expansion of day-to-day operations, which include equipment sales and rental, technology licensing, and service, training and support. He will also assume responsibility for strategic planning and business development, drawing on more than two decade’s experience and extensive contacts in the industry to chart a path for PRT’s continued growth.

“Two years ago, PRT launched with a mission to deliver innovative technologies and custom-tailored support to relining contractors,” says Richard Lindner, President of Envirosight, PRT’s parent company. “The response was overwhelming, and we’ve seen solid growth in the short time since. Maintaining high service standards amidst such growth, while continuing to lead in technology, takes someone of Pete’s caliber, and we’re lucky to have him.”

Mr. Kurz joins PRT from Tri-State utilities, where he served as business development manager since 2000. During this tenure, he helped grow the company into a successful regional leader in infrastructure rehabilitation, coordinating efforts on a variety of fronts, including sales, advertising, events, networking and public relations. Prior to that, he held senior sales positions with municipal equipment suppliers Virginia Public Works Equipment Company and Atlantic Machinery Company. Mr. Kurz serves on the NASSCO Board of Directors, as well as on various committees within the organization. He is also a committee member with the Virginia Water Environment Association and a local presenter for the Virginia Rural Water Association.
